(For those ladies coming out for surfing lessons, we recommend using men's boardshorts. The added length will help prevent the inside of your legs from getting raw from rubbing when straddeling the board..... ouch. A rashguard protects the upper body from not only the sun, but from the same body vs board frictions as boardshorts do for the inner legs. All sports have their protective gear.)
