If you traveled a little lighter than you should have to Cloud 9, don't sweat it. Siargao Island isn't as deep into the boon docks, when it comes to surfing essentials, as it used to be. Our Surf Shop is one of the first places you see as you come into General Luna.
We carry surfboards, body boards, spare fcs fins if you happen to snap one. Complete snorkel sets . Reef shoes for your wet strolls. Board shorts, both quality and inexpensive. Rain gear for when it's raining and hammocks for when it isn't. Rash guards so you don't get nuked by the tropical sun. And Dingle Berries patch material for when ur board springs a leak.
Couldn't get Morey on last shipment but have very nice Voit Pro 42 bodyboards with leashes.
You will need protection from the sun, mosquitos, germies, and depending on the time of year, jellyfish.
We have zinc oxide and sunblock to protect from the sun, and aloe vera, if you forget to put it on. Warm water wax, when your cold water application slides off ur board.
Baby wipes are very handy for sanitation and to lose fish smell from ur hands......not to mention as a prelim to antiseptics we carry for when the reef bites you
So ur flip flops only made it half way on a trip out on the reef and back eh? Drop in and get a pair that can take it and look good doing it after treating ur wounds.
While ur at it, check out some heavy duty reef shoes. Not as subtle as those meant for surfing we carry, but heavy duty, wet reef hiking shoes for greater security.
Hat smelling like a dead cat? Yeah that's what you want to be wearing when you meet that tropical beauty at the blvd...........have a new one, or at least a clean one handy and some decent shades. (we have some of the most beautiful girls on earth here, so you may decide you need more than the one pair of boardshorts and 3 t-shirts you brought.)
Speaking of the ladies, you can do far worse in making an impression, than by bringing her to the nicest store on Siargao Island for a small gift. Be it an inexpensive pair of ear rings, or an outfit to go out with you in.
Certainly more memorable than bbq chicken on the Blvd or a walk on the beach she's been walking her whole life.
